High School Reunion
Last night I went to my high school reunion. It was fun. Everyone recognised me and were so nice except some people I don't recognise back.
It was really nice talking to everyone since I was shy back in high school. So I think high school reunions are good for closure for those who were bullied and shy back in high school.

I am so tired. Oh this morning I went witnessing with Bruce, Ivan and Adriana. It was good then went to Intan's study then went to Harbour Town to get a card for Ann and Claudio's engagement. Got another card as well.
Socceroos won 2-0 over some country sorry I can't remember who they played. But Tim Cahill is a cutie. I know he's not even BLOND. But you know you don't have to be blond to be a cutie. It helps if you are though.
Thanks Ro for the SMS. Awww so sweet of you to try and cheer me up but I am fine just been doing stuff outside.
I want to travel so bad.

Weekend Update!
Well I made some choc chip cookies today with Ellena. Nice! Oh earlier on we went to Harbour Town and I got the Eagles Premiership poster finally from the Sunday Times *waltzes around the room*.
Yesterday I went to the Royal Show with Intan, her boyfriend and her parents. Got showbags for my niece (Divina) and also for Dee. I got a Freddo showbag for myself. Got a Dora the Explorer doll with it so I guess Divina can play with that whenever she is here. She got so many toys.
Just finished watching Australian Idol. This year's is pretty good actually. That's all I gotta say.
Well that's all for now.

ON SUNDAY night, it was Adam Hunter's goldfish that fell foul of the quirky celebrations of the youngest West Coast premiership player of 2006. While not quite devoured, Andrew Embley discovered yesterday that he'd been had by Beau Waters, too.
Embley had spent several days worrying that he had lost his Norm Smith Medal, revealing yesterday that he hadn't seen it since Saturday night.
The 25-year-old, who has danced his way through every function and commandeered the microphone at every opportunity, said his celebrations turned to despair on Monday night when he realised the prized possession could have been lost.
"At one stage, I was stressing massively. I was like, 'I've lost my bloody Norm Smith! I don't know where it is!' " Embley said.
Waters finally put an end to the vice-captain's anguish yesterday, revealing that he had the medal in his footy bag at home.
Waters has been at the centre of celebrations since the dramatic one-point win over Sydney. He collapsed in the rooms on Saturday night when a combination of exhaustion, dehydration and beer left him light-headed, but by Sunday, he had recovered sufficiently to snack on Hunter's goldfish.
Yesterday, as the Eagles were feted with a street parade in Perth, Waters reminded him that he had given him the medal for safe keeping during the post-match celebrations. And he warned that Embley might have to dig into his wallet to get it back.

West Coast youngster Mark Nicoski has offered a rare insight into the emotional rollercoaster that Grand Final day presents to an AFL footballer.
The 21-year-old felt both dizzying highs and crushing lows on the day and he recalled running onto the MCG in front of nearly 92,000 fans with awe.
"I was living a childhood dream to be honest with you," Nicoski said after the match.
"I'm an Eagles supporter, I've grown up in W.A., so to be representing the club in a Grand Final (was) just an amazing feeling.
"It's like (the) Coliseum, there's just no words to describe it. The amount of people watching you - it's an amazing feeling and it's one that I hope I can get again."
The young midfielder also plumbed the depths of despair after his side fell agonisingly short of premiership success - losing a titanic struggle with Sydney by just four points.
"Numb is probably the best word to describe it," he said of how he felt after the final siren.
"Just seeing a group of guys so jovial and another group of guys so down - it's hard to comprehend what happened. I've been watching Grand Finals for 21 years now and I always used to wonder why the team that lost was so disappointed.
"Playing a full season of footy - it's my first full season of AFL footy - you understand how much work goes into getting into a Grand Final and I think that's probably the main reason why the team that loses is so disappointed.
"We've ended up finishing second, but we know that if we put in the same amount of work and then a little bit more, we're going to have another opportunity."

West Coast defender Mark Nicoski is looking forward to the upcoming season, eager to erase the pain from last year's four point grand final loss to Sydney.
The pacy left-footer was fantastic in the biggest game of the year, collecting 17 possessions and bobbing up for a vital goal.
"By the end of the grand final feeling so hollow, I sort of realised why that was and it was because of the amount of hard work that went into getting us there," he said before training on Wednesday.
"When you get to the Grand Final and you miss out by four points, you understand why everyone's so disappointed because it's a mighty effort to get there and it's an even bigger effort to win it."
"That's been burning in my stomach since last year and I can't speak for everyone, but I'm pretty sure for a lot of the guys it will still be in the back of their thoughts."
Nicoski said he has since watched a replay of the grand final, treating it as part of the closure process.
"The whole day and the whole week was such a big blur that I couldn't really remember it and I just wanted to watch it to see what sort of happened and what went right and what went wrong," he said.
"I know a couple of guys haven't bothered to put the tape in but for me it was more of a closure thing."
"It has happened now and I just wanted to watch it again to see areas that I could have improved on in my game and areas we could have improved on as a team."
After an excellent 2005 season in which he played 21 games including three finals, Nicoski believes he is ready to take another step forward and wants to cement himself into the squad.
"Hopefully I can offer the coaching staff what I offered last year plus some more," he said.
"We've got such a young and talented side that to be a part of it again for another full year would be fantastic."
"I've improved my strength and my weight gain out of sight in the three or four years I've been down here."
"They're all positives so I'm looking forward to the season."

Amid the free-flowing beer for West Coast's premiership heroes at Steve's Hotel in the Perth suburb of Nedlands yesterday, the grand final marks became more spectacular, the goals were kicked from further out and there was the little case of Finding Nemo - or at least, Adam Hunter's goldfish.
As the celebrations for their first flag for 12 years continued, a sheepish Beau Waters admitted he had satisfied a late Sunday night snack attack by devouring Hunter's bowl swimmer.
Waters confessed to the crime and added that his fishy snack had been far from tasty.
Hunter had only a cryptic message in response to the crime against his goldfish.
"Right now, I'd like to say something inspirational, but that's not really me, so I'll just give you a line by Keanu Reeves in The Replacements," he said.
" 'Pain heals, chicks dig scars and glory lasts forever.' "

Just for the record. We won by a point. I was so happy when the siren sounded!!

GF again!
Saturday will determine it.
Whether we are good at losing grand finals or good at sweet revenge.
So much here at stake. I can't bear the thought of us losing again and Sydney winning again. Last year it was us vs them and they took it out. Four points the difference. I ran out of the room trying not to cry in front of my friends. I calmed down when I told myself there's always next year.
This is it. The next year I thought of. I didn't think we'd be playing Sydney again though. I know Sydney started off slow but finals football is what they are good at.
So of course a part of me is scared. Terrified even. But I know my boys will do fine and I have confidence in them.
When it's all over. I will be alright. No more sleepless nights.

WAFL
Had lunch at Nandos saw some people wearing red and white so I was like they must be Sydney supporters. Anyway then went to Sadie's then went to Subiaco Oval. The surprise was she's taking me to the WAFL Grand Final. Then my friend Jamie SMSd me telling me Mark Nicoski is playing for Subiaco so I got all excited. Anyway yeah Subiaco won. Oh then I realised South Fremantle's colours were red and white so those people I saw at Nandos they're not Sydney supporters but South Fremantle's supporters. Whoops. Oh Sadie got me pressies some WCE stuff awww so sweet but then she put some Dockers stuff as well how naughty. But I am happy today. I never been to a WAFL game before and to go to a Grand Final it's awesome and that my favourite player plays for the premiership team. Pretty cool. I hope Mark Nicoski will get to play for WCE in Grand Final next Saturday.

It was a week before the Grand Final in 1994 and it was from the West Australian newspapers for those who wanted to wish the West Coast Eagles good luck. I remember writing one to my favourite player Shane Bond. LOL. I wonder if he kept it.

Melbourne Pictures Again!!
Well I decided to post more pictures. I mean there's not much else I can do. Ok well I am chatting to a few people at the moment but hey girls are good at multi tasking. So yeah here's some more pictures of my Melbourne trip.
Me and Emma at Twelve Apostles. Apparently there's eleven now...no idea I didn't count it. Nice scenery but.
Me and Priskila outside an ice cream shop in Lygon Street. Lygon Street is full of Italian restaurants, cafes blah blah yes full of Azzuri supporters. Eeerky. Imagine the night of the World Cup final...the massive party they had.

Melbourne Pics
Here's some pics from my Melbourne trip. There's heaps but I decided to just post a few. Don't want to flood my blog with pictures (even though I do it with WCE news).
Reyka and me at Starbucks. I had iced chocolate she had green tea. In Melbourne, Starbucks is everywhere. Since we don't have Starbucks in Perth, our first stop was to Starbucks.
Me and Sarah at the Convention. Near the stage. Isn't the stage so pretty? I thought so. My lapel card I decorated in Dockers colours but hey I am not responsible for Eagles' loss to Fremantle that day.

Back Again
WCE finished on top at the end of the regular season. Finals starting next week. We will play Sydney first. Forget last year's grand final and just move on. Yesterday WCE thrashed Richmond.
Anyway my Melbourne trip was great. Met so many great people and I met up with my gorgeous friends. Only regret - I didn't see Leah (my childhood bestie).
What can I say Melbourne is beautiful! No doubt about it now I remember why it's my favourite city! I got to love and explore it again!
I got a WCE jacket in Melbourne. I travelled for a local team's jacket. Seemed weird I know but there's so many WCE stuff in Melbourne. So many WCE supporters in Melbourne. When I was at the hotel I could hear someone singing our team song.
I miss Melbourne. I miss the group I travelled with.

That Girl
She thinks she is tough but deep down she is just the average girl next door. She hide it so well her weak state of mind. She covered it up with brave expressions. She laughed with the boys and challenged the girls. At heart she is one of the girls but no one must know. When the door is closed and locked, she cried herself to sleep. But each morning she greeted the world with a smile.
Soon this masquerade will end in tragedy. She could hide from the world but she couldn't hide from herself. I just hope she will get help sooner than later and when it's all in the open, she won't beat herself up.

Among the gloom of the Brisbane Lions' fourth straight loss stood at least one shining beacon of hope for the future - the performance of tagger Troy Selwood opposed to previously in-form West Coast star Daniel Kerr.
While the Lions dropped away to an eventual 62-point loss after being competitive to half-time, Selwood was strong throughout in keeping Kerr to only four touches and picking up 21 possessions of his own.
Selwood isn't the quickest player on the Lions' list but his sense of positioning and willingness to put the team first have made him the club's number one tagging option.
"It was just one of those days. AFL is a funny game with the way the ball is shaped- sometimes it bounces your way and sometimes it wasn't," a modest Selwood explained.
"Today I could just sense it was bouncing away from him, so I probably got him on a lucky day. It's just mainly trying to get goal-side, always blocking his run and niggling and hassling him.
"It's a strategic working the angles sort of thing. Sometimes you are in front of him, sometimes you are to his side. You've just got to work out what the best angle is to take. The last couple of years I've been able to adapt to that kind of role and say 'well this works for me and this doesn't'."
Selwood, along with Justin Sherman and Joel Patful, was one of three Lions praised by coach Leigh Matthews for their defensive play. West Coast coach John Worsfold, meanwhile, quipped that he wouldn't mind having two Selwoods - twin brother Adam also had 21 touches for the Eagles - but doubted he would get the chance.
But perhaps the biggest compliment for Selwood came in the second term, when a frustrated Kerr gave away a 50m penalty on top of a free kick, which the 22-year-old Lion duly converted into a goal. Kerr then scrapped with Luke Power, conceding a second free kick.
"At one stage he got a bit fiery with me. But that just comes part and parcel of being a tagger," Selwood said.
"That's probably a good thing for me - when he starts doing that it means his main focus isn't on the ball."
Selwood can see comparisons between the team in which his brother currently plays and the Lions squad at the time he arrived at the Gabba in the summer of 2002-03. Back then the now thin on experience Lions had one of the deepest lists going around and were on the verge of winning an historic third flag.
"It's an exciting time for him (Adam) - it's going to be good to watch him go through September. It's good to see his progress," Selwood said.
"It's hard to see first-hand out on the field but it seems like he went okay. I'm just rapt that he's been able to find a spot in that side because it's a phenomenal side.I remember being drafted and a lot of people saying it was going to be hard to break into the Lions.
"But it's the way football works and the way the draft works - everything evens out. He got there at a time when they were rebuilding and he was able to slip in there during that rebuilding phase. He's gone on with it."
The manner in which Selwood goes about getting the football - head down and without fear - means he has copped several head knocks in his still young 32-game career. He is contemplating adding a helmet to his playing gear but says no decision will be made on the subject until the off-season.
"It's probably going to be a 2007 thing. I realise the way I play puts me in a situation where I may cop a few head knocks every now and then," he said.
"But I'm still running out there every week and giving 100 per cent - there are no second thoughts. Over the summer I'll trial a few (helmets) out, see what works best, get some advice from a few guys, maybe look at some studies and then go from there."

WCE defeated Brissie by 62 points. Which means WCE is now on top of the AFL ladder.

Adam Selwood is a TWIN

With the Finals approaching I am a tad nervous. Last year, the Eagles did well on the Finals until the Grand Final where they didn't win (yes they lost by four lousy points to a team that didn't deserve it - Sydney). Our players are so young but they are the best players in the AFL and I know they deserve to win Premierships.
Eagles, please don't let me down again. The last couple of years we got the Brownlow Medal in Chris Judd and Ben Cousins and last year Chris Judd got the Norm Smith Medal. So yes we have the best players...now please win the Premiership (the last Premiership was in 1994).

Update
Woo hoo Socceroos had a 2-0 win over Kuwait...LOL. Mind you I don't know those players who scored the goals. But hey they represented Australia so they are indeedly cool.
Ummmm I look forward to WCE's game against Brissie. Go Eagles! I miss Mark Nicoski though (who is currently injured). I want to go to one of their training sessions but I have no one to go with. Elle's got a full time job now so I hardly see her. Plus Richie is keeping her busy.

Friday
The morning session I sat all alone because I made it just in time lol so didn't have time to find people to sit with. But at lunch time I got friends to hang out with. On the afternoon session, I sat with Ayumi.
Saturday
I sat next to Reyka on Saturday. Kirsty got baptised. The Indonesian group all gathered together to congratulate her and her family. Then I walked around with Reyka, Emma, Maya and Matthew. They got coffee from Dome. Then I saw Caris, Jade, Nicole and Sarah so I said hi to them then went back to my seat then the afternoon session started.
Sunday
I sat with Howard and Mara during the morning session. At the start instead of putting the music for To Whom Do We Belong? song they put music for Joyful All Day Long song which was the opening song. The drama was great and as usual I know some people in Drama like Michael, Nick, Steve, Laura, Kelvyn and Julie. At lunch time I walked around with Jee, Taki, Yohei, Ayumi and Jake. I sat with Ayumi and Jee in the afternoon.

World Cup 2006
While so many Italian fans celebrated Azzurri's victory, I was left feeling numb. The thought that it could have been the Socceroos there holding that cup. We were defeated because of the Ref (Azzurri's 12th man) in the quarter final. Anyway this whole post is about Azzurri's victory over France in the final. Will get to that part eventually. Whilst Azzurri played well against Ukraine and Germany. They didn't play that well against France. For it to be decided by the penalty shootouts. It was sad. So so sad. Azzurri didn't deserve the World Cup trophy but what they deserved was an Oscar. All the Refs they fooled. So many of my so called friends said "Forza Italia". They were Australians who has Italian heritage (so what you're in Australia now). They said they couldn't decide who to go for but then decided to go for Italy because they had more chance. More chance in what? Fooling the Refs. The joke is their 1990 World Cup song - "To Be Number One" promoted fair play. Yet they fooled the Ref (you call that fair eh). I felt for Germany the most. They played well from the start, they had one bad game against Italy then it's all over. Yes they managed to finish third. But they earned it. At the end of this World Cup, I have made up my mind. Soccer isn't the game for me. In most other sports, the best team/player wins, in Soccer when it all depends on the Penalty Shootouts, it's based on luck. That I can't just accept. This entry is my way of closure. To say goodbye to World Cup 2006 and what could have been.

Sydney would be J-Lo - Quality all over, but especially good down back.
West Coast would be Kylie Minogue - very decent despite not having much up
front.
Fremantle would be Danii Minogue - Always trying hard to be as good as her
big sister, but will never measure up. The butt of everyone's jokes.
St Kilda would be Krystal from Big Brother - has the biggest and best
assets going around, but we all know they're not the real deal.
Brisbane would be Elle MacPherson - past her glorious best but still easy
on the eye and an old favourite with most.
Port Power would be Madonna - also past her glorious best, but refuses to
accept it gracefully.
Carlton would be Whitney Houston - has not looked after herself in recent
years and has gone completely off the rails.

uncontroversial. Nice to look at, but for some reason just makes you want
to yawn.
Geelong would be Britney Spears - at times can look stunning, at others it
can get ugly.

every move. Has lost credibility in recent times.
The Kangaroos would be Paris Hilton - lays down way too easily.
Richmond would be Annabel Chong - can cop a pounding and keep coming back
for more, all in the name of self-improvement.
Western Bulldogs would be Shakira - proof that being short is no barrier
to getting you excited. Will only get better too.
Hawthorn would be Christina Aguilera - looks like she enjoys it rough and

Mourning
I am cut. I am upset. Port Adelaide defeated WCE. Our second loss this season a week before the break. Ok let's face it we can't play well without Judd. The last three games have been shocking the difference is the first couple of times we got lucky & got over the line. Not this time. We need Judd. We truly need Judd. He will be back after the break but look at WCE. Second on the ladder on percentage. Because Adelaide (not Port Adelaide) been thrashing everyone by 100 points. Whereas WCE had lucky wins. Bah. Let's see I have been bad at updating my blog. Why? Because there's hardly anything going on at the moment. I don't really hang out with anyone anymore. Everyone pretty much moved on. At times I feel sad & lonely. I do have beautiful friends. I'd be lying if I say I have no friends because I have such beautiful friends but I don't really do much with anyone these days. I'll be ok. I don't want to sound depressed or blue or anything like that that's why I don't post much. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me. Because I will be ok.

West Coast has staged its second remarkable comeback in a row, kicking eight goals to two in the final quarter to record a thrilling 11-point victory against a valiant Carlton at Subiaco Oval on Sunday.
Last week, the Eagles snatched victory from the jaws of defeat when they overran Geelong at Skilled Stadium after falling nine goals behind midway through the third term.
This week, the comeback was from 44 points down nine minutes into the third term, as the Eagles displayed the same grit from the Skilled Stadium clash to record an amazing 16.15 (111) to 15.11 (101) win.
Adam Hunter was the hero for the Eagles, kicking three of his four goals in the pulsating final term, while Michael Embley also lifted and kicked the final two goals of the match to secure the win.
Ben Cousins, Chad Fletcher, Rowan Jones and David Wirrpanda all lifted in the second half, with Quinten Lynch finishing with three important goals.
In what was billed as a David and Goliath battle, Carlton defied the odds for much of the game, and if it was any other side they were playing, would have certainly returned home with the four points.
Brendan Fevola was magnificent up forward with six goals, while youngster Marc Murphy, Nick Stevens, and Heath Scotland were prominent all afternoon.
Lance Whitnall continued his career-best form with a stellar performance in defence, while Eddie Betts was a livewire up forward with three goals.
The Eagles have now won five games on the trot since a narrow loss to Fremantle in round six, while in contrast, Carlton has lost its past four matches and can look forward to some early picks in this year's national draft with just two wins to its name.
West Coast entered the match as the shortest-priced favourites in modern AFL betting history, with odds of $1.04 to win the match with TAB Sportsbet, and Brent Staker got them off to the perfect start with a goal after just 80 seconds.
But for the remainder of the term it became the Fevola show, as the Blues' spearhead slammed home four goals for the quarter opposed to Darren Glass.
Simon Wiggins also chipped in with two, as the visitors opened up a surprising, but well-deserved 17-point lead at quarter time.
The margin was reduced back to seven points early in the second quarter after goals to Lynch and Ashley Hansen, but the Blues settled, with Betts posting consecutive goals.
Fevola's influence was quelled by Glass for most of the second quarter, but he managed to find space in the final few seconds, snapping a magnificent goal right on the half time siren - his fifth - to stretch the lead to 26 points at the main break.
The Blues were simply more effective when they had the ball in the first half, highlighted by the fact that West Coast had 13 more possessions, yet six less scoring shots.
If the Eagles weren't hitting the panic button at half time, they certainly were early in the third term, as the Blues kicked three unanswered goals as the lead ballooned out to 44 points at the nine-minute mark.
Lynch broke the trend with his third goal four minutes later, and when Mark Nicoski goaled on the run at the 23-minute mark, the momentum was beginning to shift the Eagles way.
It was left to Fevola to step up once again, and the 25-year old didn't disappoint, slotting through his sixth to extend the lead back out to 34 points with five minutes remaining in the quarter.
However, the home side continued to push, and with Carlton flooding back to protect its lead the Eagles feared midfield began to kick into action.
Hunter reaped the benefits when he drifted forward, threading through a goal deep inside the left full-forward pocket to reduce the margin to 29 points heading into the final change.
The Eagles' forward then kicked the first goal of the final term to ignite the 40,090 crowd and bring West Coast back to within 23 points, but Scotland kicked truly at the five-minute mark to restore the lead.
With the margin 28 points at the 13-minute mark, the Eagles needed something special and it was Hunter who once again delivered, slamming home consecutive goals to lift his side.
The tempo had lifted, and the Eagles began to run all over Carlton as the Blues' tired legs became apparent.
Daniel Chick somehow managed to get boot to ball as he was slung to kick an important goal, and when Cousins streamed into an open goal and kicked truly, the margin was just two points with less than four minutes remaining.
Stand-in captain Embley brought his team home, kicking two goals in as many minutes to give the Eagles the lead, and a few seconds later the win, as the final siren sounded to the jubilation of the West Coast players.
An in-form Port Adelaide side awaits the Eagles at AAMI Stadium next week in what will be an interesting match, while Carlton has a bye before returning to Telstra Dome to tackle fellow strugglers the Kangaroos.

A Thriller
We were nine goals behind & I thought we're not gonna win this but guess what we ended up winning by 3 points I was screaming so loud saying "we won" over & over. Elle made the difference I think because she was at the game. Go Elle!!

Lalala
Friday night. I should be out partying with friends right? Wrong. I am at home doing absolutely nothing. Blah. Was gonna watch Beaches on DVD but somehow I am not in the best of moods *sigh*.
I was doing a bit of scrapbooking earlier. I love doing scrapbooking. I just need to print more pictures now. I got lots of pictures on my digital camera.
My friends asked me to go to the movies on Sunday but I want to watch footy. So I have to find a valid excuse to get out of it. Is footy a valid excuse? LOL.
Gotta go now. Might update later (tomorrow probably if I am not doing anything).

Just saw The Man Who Cried on DVD. What a depressing movie. Had a happy ending and all that but the soundtrack was so full on depressing. But Johnny Depp looked hot as usual. Hee hee.

WCE won against Collingwood. I am so happy!! We won. I was a tad upset with Ashley who is a Collingwood supporter. But his wife Caca is my friend & she was like I love you & acted all nice so I don't get annoyed anymore. LOL. Caca saves the day.

Boring
It's Friday night & I should be doing stuff with my friends. Instead I am at home chatting online feeling sorry for myself. I want to go out so bad but everyone is either away or doing something else. I miss Desy, Elima & Nadine so much. A few weeks ago they were here. Now they are far away. I hate far away places. I wish things could go back to the way they were.

Yesterday I received two letters. One from Desy & one from Susannah. Both regular pioneers. Their letters are so encouraging. I wish I can write like that. LOL.

First Loss
WCE lost to Fremantle Dockers by five lousy points. Oh well at least Fremantle is from WA too!! Still we were undefeated before this match. Oh well we will bounce back next week against Collingwood.

Wow
Guess what!!
Sadie got tickets to see West Coast Eagles vs Melbourne & she is taking me!!
It will be on the 28th of this month.
I wanted to go for so long. Especially since the Eagles are on top of the ladder.
True anything can happen in the next few weeks but they are definitely at their best.
I am just really excited about it.
The Western Derby is this weekend. It should be exciting. It certainly will divide the state. The Eagles should win!! I hope they do!! I will be so cut if Dockers win. Dan will brag about it if they do I'm sure since he is a Dockers supporter.
