Whoopsies

I promised you pictures, and I haven't yet kept my promise. Will do it now (if I am not distracted). I have other stories too. Will do it later.

My Trip

I am gonna tell you about my favourite moments first and then least favourite then funny moments. So it's not in order or anything.

Paris (Disneyland, Versailles and up close and personal with Eiffel Tower)
You know the last couple of years I have this obsession - I want to go to Paris and yeah finally I made it there. I was so excited. Like a six year old girl getting a Barbie doll as a present from grandma lol. Anyway yeah we stayed at a Disney Hotel. I got to meet some of the Disney Characters (I feel like a little girl again). Lilo is a sweetie and Chip and Dale are so cute!! We had lunch with the Princesses and also Snow White's prince but my favourite Disney moment is having my photo taken with my childhood sweetie Pinocchio lol. I used to watch Pinocchio over and over again when I was like five years old. No joke. Next is Versailles. We (myself, Nadine and Akina) lined up to get to the estate for hours. We finally got inside and wondered around. It's exciting but I wanted to see the gardens and finally when we did it rained and our umbrella broke. Managed to get a few photos but yeah the weather sucked big time. Then we went to the shops to get some Eiffel Tower souvenirs. Then we had lunch at McDonald's I know how sad lol. Anyway then we caught the train and then we found Eiffel Tower aaahhh it's huge lol then we found a good spot to take photos with Eiffel Tower in the background.

London (Bethel, Pub and Big Ben)
I know everyone said British Museum is the place to go but somehow we didn't end up going there. Can't remember the reason either. But I got to visit Bethel it's the next best thing right even though I personally put Bethel before British Museum anyway yeah good thing a friend's boyfriend is a Bethelite so he organised a tour for us and yeah the tour was fun we mostly watch DVDs and walk up and down the stairs lol. Had a group photo and got some literatures and stuff then we walked from the IBSA House to Watchtower House for tea with the brothers and sisters at Bethel. Met some nice Bethelites there. Fabian, Mark, Dale and some others I can't remember right now. I talked to Dale mostly cos he sat in front of me and he is talkative and very friendly.
Then Dale, Nadine and myself walked upstairs and had coffee/hot chocolate then we just talked for ages then Samantha and Kieran came and then we played pool well they did as you know I don't know how to play pool I got bored watching them play so I went downstairs and had a long chat with Mark and I ended up talking to Mark for ages then Nadine found us and she joined us then yeah we went home. A couple of days later Samantha told us that Dale wanted to see us again so we decided to meet up at a pub near Bethel. I think it's called Witherspoons or something like that. That was nice and yeah Dale and I stayed in touch. Next memorable moment is seeing Big Ben. I love Big Ben almost as much as Eiffel Tower.

Barcelona
Ok this is my least favourite moment of the whole trip. Basically someone stole my cousin Nadine's cameras etc and the Hotel we stayed at was horrible thankfully though we stayed there one night because then we stayed at a sister's place. I wanted to go to Barcelona because I thought it's gonna be a nice and pretty city. But the whole mugged and yucky hotel thing ruined it for me.

Salzburg (Sound of Music tour)
This tour is funny. First Sound of Music tour we went to was horrible. The tour guide's a sleeze and he doesn't know what he's talking about. It's meant to be Sound of Music tour but he went on and on about a naked Statue and Mozart and food. His jokes annoyed me and our friend Felicity while Nadine is patient with him and just laughed at me and Felicity complaining thankfully we found another tour to go on with yup we ran away from our other tour oh the funny look he gave us was priceless I can't even mention it on here but Nadine know what I am talking about. Anyway the second tour was brilliant it's the real Sound of Music tour. The tour guide know what he is talking about and he's nice and pleasant to be around with. Felicity liked him :) and we took photos.

Well there's Venice, Stockholm and Gothenburg as well that I will write about later.

An Update At Last

Sorry I didn't realise how bad I have been at updating this blog. Thank you Roland my friend for reminding me of this blog I neglect the past month or so! You have been so kind by leaving me comments while I totally forget about this blog yeah yeah I am going around in circles here basically yeah I have been a bad girl now let's move on and yeah carry on with the update.

Well I am going to California next year for the International Convention I have been accepted as a delegate. Woo hoo me so excited. I am also auxiliary pioneering this month.

Oh yeah photos of Europe trip I know you all want to see it so bad. Add me on Facebook then hehe then again I only have one photo up whoops. I know I know I promise people I will add more and I never do you see I don't have Photoshop and to resize a photo takes forever. Imagine 20 or more photos yup will take me hours. True I spent hours petting on (fluff) friends. Yup a Facebook application I am obsessed with. Also I am addicted to another application called Petrol Head my cousins got me addicted to that.

Umm you know what I will try to add a few of my Europe photos on here soon. And maybe tell you a bit about it and stuff so you know a bit about my trip to be honest I can't even remember it now lol it's like six months ago now.

I have other stories too from after my Europe trip. I met this lovely girl named Fabienne. She has gone back to Switzerland though but we did heaps together while she was here and we had tons of photos together I even managed to give her a scrapbook as her farewell present. I also met this girl Teresa from Sweden she is now in Sydney though funny thing was when I was in Sweden I stayed with her sister also her two friends Hannah and Boogie. Nice girls. Then I met Teresa here in Perth.

Distracted

I know that I have been bad at updating my blog. The thing is I have been distracted. So many things happened since I came back from Europe. Some positives and some negatives don't worry I won't bore you with the details.

Last month my sister, my nieces and my brother in law visited us from Batam so it was so nice to see them again. My nieces are gorgeous. Divina is four years old and Jenna is one. Also my sister, my brother in law and I saw Miss Saigon at Burswood Theatre. It was brilliant!

This month I am auxiliary pioneering and so far I am loving it.

I know I promised to post photos from my Europe Trip but I won't do that today but will do so as soon as possible.

There's a zillion more things to tell but I won't do so now oh wait.

My beloved West Coast Eagles not doing so well so far this season. Our team is full of rookies and can only improve from here.

A year of milestones.

Europe Trip

I am back in Perth now but I can tell you that I had a great time in Europe. My favourite cities are Paris and London!

Will post pictures as soon as I can. When I can be bothered.

New Layout

Finally I found the layout I like!
Well I haven't added the tag board.
I don't think I want one anymore actually.
I just can't be bothered adding it.
The last thing I want is a headache because I can't get it to work or something.

Oh yeah my layout is still pretty simple. I can't be bothered looking for a nice layout. It will take hours and then it might not work out the way I want it to so yeah I am leaving it as it is until further notice.

WCE legend Chris Mainwaring passed away this morning aged 41.
He is a two time Premiership player.
They made a tribute for him on channel 7 and it made me cry. Chris was a sports presenter for channel 7.
Anyway I have an autographed photo of him. My friend asked him to sign it for me.

Such is life.

Devastated

It's confirmed.

Chris Judd is no longer a West Coast Eagle. Yes he is leaving us. He is a champion. A Brownlow medallist, a Norm Smith medallist and a Premiership player. But now he let down a club that gave him all that. What a traitor!

My regret is not ever meeting him and have my photo taken with him. My regret is not going to a training session when I so wanted to go.

I can't stop crying right now.

How could he do that to us?

Nico, please don't go!

Oh no! Nico might not play for the Eagles next year.
I might never meet him.
He might play for another club next year.
But if I have to choose between Nico and Juddy.
You know I will choose Juddy to stay because he is a legend.
Still though, Nico is a star!

New Look?

Well not really. Eventually I will work out how to make my very own layout. I really want to make a West Coast Eagles one. If anyone want to help out. I will really appreciate it. I know I know. I don't have a tagboard currently. I sorta had a headache earlier on because I saw the perfect layout and somehow I can't get it to work. I changed my previous one because Roland seemed to hate it well he said it's stuffed up even though I didn't see anything wrong with it but hey feedbacks are really appreciated.

September Blues

WCE played their last game tonight.
So we didn't even make it to the Preliminary Final this year.
But we were without our best players in Ben Cousins, Chris Judd and Daniel Kerr.
We had to throw in the young inexperienced players.
We had a big lead at the start of the 3rd quarter but once again the opposition came back just like last week when Port came back this week it was the Magpies. We played well to push them to extra time. But that ended our season. I knew from the start we weren't gonna win this. But I look forward to seeing the Magpies lose to Geelong next week. I hope Geelong win the flag this year. Because I don't want to see Port Pherals win it either. So yeah our season is over for this year but bring on 2008 when we have a fit CBD. But deep down I want to cry. Deep down I know I can't handle the loss as much as I should.

Broken Team

Injury woes inspired me to do this.

Right Now

I just want the Eagles to bounce back.
But we all know it's pretty much impossible.

The Hard Way

Eagles will have to do it the hard way again.
They lost by 3 points last week at AAMI.
Benny did his hammy so that's another blow for the Eagles.
They play either Sydney or Collingwood next week at Subiaco.
I hope they play Collingwood.
Anyway Nico played well.
Eagles played well last night no doubt about it but once again their fourth quarter effort let them down.
Judd is still injured so he didn't do as well as he could have. He still managed to kick two goals but he could have kicked more.
But hey like I said the Eagles will have to do it the hard way again like last year when they won the flag.
But this year more injury woes.
So hopefully next season, our boys will be fitter and less injuries.

I am proud of you no matter what.
Still did well considering all the injuries.

Eagles defeated Essendon by 8 points.
At three quarter time we led by 44 points.
So yeah not a good fourth quarter effort by my boys.

Finals starts this Friday.
Eagles play Port Adelaide at AAMI.

Went to Swan Brewery Restaurant with Ken, Caca, Ash, Maya, Matt, Indri, Nathan, Audy, Emma, Reyka, Reyci and Kirsty.

Now I have sore throat.

I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles *sigh*.
Move on. Get over it.

But you know imagine being like a Carlton supporter, or Melbourne supporter, or even worse, Richmond supporter. They got it worse.

But why can't we be like Geelong?
Sitting pretty on top of the ladder.

LOL.

But look at the positives not the negatives.

True we could have been 2nd on the ladder and instead we are now 5th. But if we beat North Melbourne next week we should be ok. Since North Melbourne is currently second and our percentage is better than theirs. Then we got Richmond. Dockers is still 13th though. With Carlton at 14th, Melbourne 15th and down the bottom is Richmond.

Western Derby

I was disappointed with the two teams, the umpiring and the crowd. It was just a bad game to watch not just the scores but the way it is played. All the 50 m penalties, the fights, the way they play, it's ugly.

I turned off the tv at the start of the 4th quarter because I just couldn't watch it anymore.

I can handle defeats when we deserve it.

Apparently Western Derbies is the worst sporting rivalry in the country even worse than State of Origin between NSW and Qld and worse than Port v Adelaide and worse than Carlton v Collingwood. It certainly looked that way to me. The way they carried on.

I am clearly upset by this. I am upset by the way they carried on in the field. It's uncalled for and silly and all I can say is I hope it won't happen again.

I hate the Dockers, they made my Eagles looked bad. The Eagles have never ever acted this badly before. Call me biased or whatever but Freo started it and the umpires let Freo win after all the stuff they did. I think it's unfair.

Nico plays for Subi again this weekend in WAFL. His team against Nick Kane's East Perth. I like both Nico and Kane but most of me want Kane's team to win.

I am a bad Nico fan. He is meant to be my fave footy player but how come I didn't want his Subi team to win? Pfft maybe because I've met Kane and he's really nice and I had my photo taken with him and yeah.

Plus this Nico is playing for Subi not Eagles. As soon as he is back playing for Eagles in AFL, I will support him again.

Please Woosha, select him back. I like Eagle Nico more than Lion Nico.

Did I say I lost interest in blogging?
Maybe I did. Maybe I decided to come back since I need it all over again.
Yeah I need to vent out my frustration with my beloved Eagles. LOL.
Ok they won their first six games. Then they lost to Geelong then they had a win then they lost again to Hawthorn then had a win then they had two consecutive losses to pffft Essendon (1 point loss mind you) and St Kilda. Then they had a win over Adelaide and then another two consecutive losses to Brisbane (I went to that game it was Selwood vs Selwood awww those cute twins ahem) and Port Power. At the start WCE were on top of the ladder and then they were third then they were second (after being saved so many times by other teams) but after today I don't even want to know where WCE is on the ladder. All depending on other games being played today I suppose. I hope Dockers beat Kangas by heaps and Richmond thrash Hawks by heaps. But we all know things don't really go my way anymore. But hey a girl can dream.

Carn the Eagles. Please for Mama Eagle, win back to back premierships.

WCE

Eagles are no longer on top of the ladder because Geelong is.

Geelong defeated Adelaide while a couple of days ago WCE lost by a point to the Bombers.

What annoyed me was when Kerr was 40 m from goal and all he had to do was kick it from there but he chose to kick it to Hunter who couldn't mark the ball. Now that really annoyed me. We could have won or at least draw with Essendon. Bad mistake Kerr!!

The thing is we have lost three of the last five games and we won the first six games. We do not want to lose another game. We are now 2nd on the ladder and the last thing we want is to go any lower than 2nd. Of course I would love us to be on top again. I wish Adelaide defeated Geelong. To my disappointment, they didn't. WCE and Geelong are equal on points but Geelong ahead on percentage.

My boy Nico played for Subiaco yesterday at the WAFL. Though Subiaco lost by 2 goals (12 points), Nico played really well and I am sure he will get called up for AFL selection soon. The Eagles do need him.

WCE defeated Carlton in round 4.
WCE defeated Richmond in round 5.
WCE defeated Western Bulldogs in round 6.

I have tons of things to tell you but I will have to do that another time.

I am well and hap-hap-happy but soon will have to say goodbye to Nadine who is going back to London.

I'm pretty sure that I saw Mark Nicoski today in Subiaco having lunch. LOL he smiled at me! At first I didn't notice him then he smiled then I was like that guy looks so much like Mark Nicoski! Then I noticed a guy wearing West Coast Eagles polo shirt talking to him.

Round 3. Eagles defeated Dockers. LOL. Eagles now on top of the AFL ladder. Me = happy. Oh yeah and we're the only team undefeated so far.

In WAFL. Royals defeated Peel.

I love footy.

Yeah I know you know that but anyway.

Btw the Eagles won in round 1 against Sydney and in round 2 against Collingwood.

I have been pretty slack at updating.

In round 3, we will play against Fremantle Dockers so yes it's a Western Derby. Fremantle lost in round 1 against Port Power and again in round 2 against Essendon. So they will be desperate to win. So my boys better beat them. Even though my boys had wins they were pretty close games. Only a point win over Sydney and a two goal win over the Magpies. But still a win is a win and I am super happy with their efforts.

WAFL

I went to a WAFL game yesterday. East Perth vs Claremont at Leederville. It was pretty good. LOL. Claremont won by a goal.

After the game, me and Lee-Ann went to the members' bar. We met up with some of the players like Frank, Llane, Nick Kane aka Sugar and Pat Travers. I had my picture taken with Sugar lol at the time I thought he was Travers. Lol. I sure know how to tell the players apart...not!

Anyway I went home not long after. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Will have to go to another game. Still have unfinished business....I want my picture taken with Travers.

On friday night I went out with Sandra, Caca, Emma, Reyka, Reyci, Kirsty, Mara, Sarah and Maya. We went to Box Deli. After dinner we exchanged gifts, each of us draw out a piece of paper (a name) from a shot glass. Kirsty got my name. She got me a purple belt. I got Sarah's name so she got my gift! Then we went to King Street Cafe.

Just got home from Morley Galleria. Saw a couple of Dockers players and lots of girls posing with them in photos lol. Since I am not a Dockers supporter I have no idea who they are as in their names lol but they seemed nice. I wish it was the Eagles so I can join in the fun tee hee.

Cousins

Awww I saw this picture in a news article.

Apparently Cousins broke up with his girlfriend Samantha recently.

Ben Cousins suspended indefinitely.

I don't know what to think. Of course I feel sad, disappointed, angry and furious at him and the club yes at the club for making this decision. Cousins won the Brownlow medal a couple of years ago and he was part of the Premiership team last year. He is a good player wait he was a good player for the Eagles. You will be missed, Ben Luke Cousins!

So close to the season then this happens. After I defended the boys so much and then this happens. It's like the more I defend the boys the more I see they do stupid things.

Stupid stupid stupid EAGLES!!

Right now I am angry!! For letting me down big time. I wanted them to win back to back premierships and how come it's down the drain before the season even starts. But who knows they might surprise me and do well like they always do. But still without Cousins and with Nico's injury.

Life sucks at the moment.

Random News

I am back. Woot woot.

Let's see. I had a pretty good weekend. Went witnessing on Saturday with the girls. Tee hee. On Sunday I mainly watched TV *sigh*.

Going witnessing later in the arvo. I love auxiliary pioneering. It's so much fun. On Friday arvo I went witnessing with Sarah and Linda. Sarah is a regular pioneer and Linda is a regular auxiliary pioneer.

Girls nite out on Friday! I am so excited ay.

Life in General

Hi let's see today I went witnessing with Reyka, Kenneth and Audy. Which was pretty good.

Have my Special Assembly Day tomorrow. I am so excited.

Life in general have been pretty good. I really want to travel though. It's weird.

The weather here been pretty weird some days it's really hot and some days it's been really cold.

I look forward to the end of the month. I hope I will make my time. So far so good though because yesterday I went witnessing with Julie, Laura and Steve. Laura and Steve are special pioneers in my congregation.

But guess what. From May 1 the Indonesian Group will become a congregation! In a way I am really excited and happy about it but it will be sad leaving all my friends in Subiaco! I won't get to see them much anymore. But other than that it's a positive thing.

Cranium

Had a farewell party for Intan at our place. We played Cranium. I was in the Red team and we won. It was lots of fun. I got the true or false question on Sir Donald Bradman right lol. Had to act out the Wiggles as well which Mara got straight away. At first I didn't want to do it but everyone wanted me to do it lol. Everyone was like cheering and clapping it was funny though lol.

Express it!

I realise I don't really use this blog enough to express how I feel. I mean I use it to update WCE news or when I am defending them or when I want to post photos but I don't really use it to express how I feel day to day.

Anyway to cut the long story short.

I really want to visit my cousin in London but so many of my friends want me to go to Jakarta next February for the Zone Visit. Don't get me wrong I do want to see my friends again as well as meeting those I haven't yet met but at the same time I want to see Europe especially since my cousin is in London.

That's one thing.

Another thing. Friends. I feel I do a lot for my friends and I feel some don't do a lot for me when I need them and most of the time I don't ask for much at all. Sometimes I feel they are using me. I just can't say "no" sometimes and it's a real weakness on my part.

On to something else. My tummy hurts. Went to the docs. She said it's probably some sort of virus. The only thing I can eat is "bubur ayam" at the moment if I don't feel better in a couple of days time I must get an ultrasound to see what's going on there. It is so painful. Silly virus. Not happy Jan!

On to happier news. I had fun at karaoke the other night with my friends. I even had my picture taken with my ex best friend. I know the word "ex" made it sound like we now hate each other or something the reality is that we used to be so close but now we don't really talk to each other that much anymore. But I still care about her a lot. She will always be special to me. I can't ever erase the fun times we had together in the past. I am not one to forget such things. Once a special friend, always a special friend.

Had the Circuit Assembly on the weekend. The program was really upbuilding and as per usual the District Overseer gave a great final talk and he was heaps funny as well. Intan attended both days so I sat with her. She came to karaoke place with us too. Very nice indeed.

Mother Eagle Story

There's an article with a picture of Mark Nicoski in the paper yesterday. He looked so awesome. I told my friend about it too and she was all excited how awesome. Anyway the thing behind the mother eagle story. Well the other night I had this huge disagreement/debate/misunderstanding with this person in Sydney he is Indonesian and I assumed he knows nothing about footy and he annoyed me by saying that West Coast's one point win over them was based on luck. Please!! I don't like his sarcasm either so I set him straight. I win the debate. So yeah I am mother eagle. That's what my cousin called me when I told her my story lol. Don't mess with the Eagles. I will be in their defence.

I don't like it when I can't help my friends. I just want to make their pain go away. I truly do. I want to be there for them and to give them the right advice but sometimes it's hard to find the right words of encouragement. If someone need a friend, I will try my hardest to be there for them. That's why right now I am hurting because I know my friend is in so much pain. All I can do is listen to them and be their friend.

I can't believe it Damien won Australian Idol. He suck!! Jessica is so much better than him! Everyone was surprised! I am still cut eh. Jess is awesome. Her version of the winner's single is so much better than his but his is the one we will listen to from now on aarrggghhh for the next few months *screams*. Honestly what is wrong with Australia? You keep voting for the wrong people!

I love watching Australian Idol this year. My favourite is Jessica Mauboy. She is half Indonesian and half Aboriginal. She is awesome. She is seventeen years old. Anyway she is in top 3 so I hope she will make it to the grand final and win it yay. Oh and she wore Eagles scarf when she performed in AFL grand final. Go Jess!
